Ethonol is made with water and if it sits still for a few weeks it starts to seperate from the mixture... If you use your equipment once every 2 weeks then you will never have a problem and adding fuel stabilizer will lenghthen that duration... Shake your fuel cans occationally to disturb the mix or remix it.... Everything is cool ...Gas turns to turpentine if it sets - same with ethanol , just a little sooner... Ok, I've heard this before. What I am trying to understand is what exactly is the damage or fault? For example I started my chainsaw recently which has sat for a couple of years now, and it kicked off just fine, so I wonder whats the actual problem? Does this only pertain to 4 stroke engines?
