You can get large ones at the farm store...30cc and bigger...you can also get ones with larger openings. I'm going to also play with this some. I have an automatic syringe also...lol...I can set this and shoot the exact amount in each...:D worth a try
"But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 25:15
Id prefer a smaller bait pump as full size nibble jars take up way to much room in my tackle box. We need a new saying. "Is that a bait pump in your pocket or are you happy to see me?" I kicked around making some but if i ever do they will be 1/2 size.

The guy that makes the bait pump is a corporate sponsor of CDC and a member and has given alot of us some very effective secrets to help us that knew hardly anything about crappie fishing the ability to put a few in the boat. Now if you can't afford $15 to $20 for a bait pump then maybe I can understand but don't knock something that you haven't tried and that works. What happens when all the sponsors of the CDC website quit sponsoring b/c people have come up with ways that they thought were better. Without the sponsors then maybe we will have to pay just to get on CDC, will the products be worth the money then? I personally use the bait pump and find it works very well.
I personally think it is well worth paying a MEMBER $15 to $20 rather than giving it to some retail store to save a few bucks.

This sort of thinking doesn't support the American way. If a guy can use a product that costs 1 dollar as opposed to a product that has a cost of 20 dollars and the 1 dollar product might work more effeciently, then why wouldn't he do it. Not sure how the economy is where you live, but here in America it's suffering a little bit.
As far as paying to use CDC, I think you are pushing it a bit there. I'm yet to see any popular forums that charge users to get on them. The idea behind a lot of these sites is that if you get enough traffic, you will get sponsors and make money on the site. And there's some pretty hefty money out there to be made.
If someone comes up with a better way to make trolling motors, or fishing poles, the bigger company will buy the smaller company.
Let's not stifle creativity, and communication. Just my opinion.
I tend to agree.

And you've obviously never used the Bait Pump. I use it numerous times on all fishing outings... don't throw a tube with out nibbles in it... and after using all other methods that have come to mind... this little contraption works 100xs better and 1 Bait Pump will last years if treated well. Forget about the sponsor issue, the maker is a **** of a guy and could easily sell it for another $15-$20... so $15 is a steal.

Fishin' fills the time until College football season
Actually I have a bait pump LSU guy, but nice try on that assumption. But I could see where the right syringe would have it's benefits, and would make it easier to do.
I have met the maker, and I'll leave it at that.
OK, so 15 plus another 20. yeah, I could really see paying 35.00 for about 2.00 worth of plastic.
For some guys it's the right choice. But to hamper creative thinking by members just because the guy is a sponsor, just doesn't sit right with me.
They make every tool under the sun, but most farmers can get the job done with minimal expense and what they have on hand.

Don't own a bait pump. Don't have a dog in this hunt. But I will say this. Been using a 30cc syringe from Tractor Supply, and it's kind of a pain in the butt. It works OK, but requires a fair amount of pressure to squeeze out the nibble paste.
Tried to use a friend's bait pump once, but I'm assuming either the threads were kind of seized or it's just difficult to turn in general. All that said, I'll be buying a bait pump of my own to try.
