I just happen to know of an Xpress you can fish out of in Mississippi!
But, hopefully, you'll have that War Eagle back in time!

You can fish in the barge with me - and I got a 1988 plastic bass hunter
I can pull behind with a rope - we'll put Pox back there :D:D:D

    Thanks Jeff.

That really nice of you to think of Pox too.:D

I will say that at least War Eagle has responded to the call and immediately has a solution/fix. The dealer could fix the seats, but the dealer can't fix the carpet.

I am still waiting on Humminbird. I am patient, and persistent as you all know. But, at my age, who knows how much waiting time I got left.

I could get a loner boat if I wanted to, but I just don't wanna fool with one. I gotta Jon Boat if I come down with a real bad case of fish fever.

Transporting the boat is the real time killer. Haulers don't run like they used to. Gas as we all know ain't cheap for them either.

I will give them a chance to redeem themselves.:p

    Tom,

I am glad War Eagle is a company that stands by their product and are working with you to fix the problem. Be sure and tell them you want a little "Somethin somethin" back off the purchase price for your time and troubles.

Ah, I read about bolts missing on seats but missed carpet story, well U gotta do what gotta do, at least- a atta boy for War Eagle for quick responce & not trying to hide it under carpet like some Electonics company? was trying, but as in life, leave the door open long enough and the "Bird" will get out......

Best of Luck with your boat Cane & maybe they will give U biggie break on one for the Mrs.

You know the Friday boats story is probably true. I used to pick up at a Champion boat dealership nearby and one day walked back to rigging/prep area to see the service tech cussing and wiping oil out the bilge of a $50k Champion. Seems they forgot to connect the lines to the oil tank at the factory and when he filled the tank it just poured in! All he could say was they must have built this one on a Friday afternoon.

Makes you wonder what happened to American quality??? People are getting to where they don't take pride in their work and it shows in the products that we buy. I'm having some issues with that myself with my new home.

    Go get'em CP.
You are correct snagger, pride in the building business is rare any more. I do interior trim for a living, all types of custom work. Very few builders are left that insist on a quality product. The majority of them want to charge the customer for said quality, yet only pay the subcontractor as little as they can get by with. This includes NOT careing if the job is done that good, but what the builder can stick in his pocket as the bottom line. Now, try to be competative when bidding a job to get it, bidding against illegal mexicans who work their rears off for peanuts, crews that skate all workers comp requirements, pay cash and send out 1099's, yet still insist on Gen liability, and that even a crappy job, gets done ASAP so the builder can hit the bank up for a draw. Building business has lost almost all it's integrity and the few that do insist the job is done right, usually can't stay busy enough to make ends meet. There are a few builders that take care of everything, as well as very good subcontractors that do things the way they should be done. However, trying to stay hooked up can be really tough. Sorry to hijack the thread. Hope everything with Toms rig turns out good for him.

It just sucks to give that much money for something and have the troubles with it that we do. I'm with everyone else, atleast War Eagle had a quick response to the problem.

I'm not a rich man by no means, but I'd gladly give more for a product and get quality and awesome customer service. If they do it right the first time, the customer service part wouldn't be hard to do.
If you are a veteran or active military, THANK YOU.
