I'm curious as well. Do you need some special software to get it onto your computer? I have a 997 but have not messed with video yet.

Either of you got a video editing program and know how to use it to edit? If so, which editor?

yep. Some computers don't have it.

Convert the .son file generated by 997 via the HBSI file converter to the yelllowfin file. Playback on the yellowfin viewer.

The rest is simple. (There is no file converter for yellowfin to video formats.)

Take a record camera and place in front of your monitor. (I use a tripod and my Cannon 710 in the record mode). Adjust room background lights to remove glare from camera/monitor. Play the yellowfin playback and focus the camera to capture the playback as you desire.

Open windows movie maker and import the video file from your camera. Give title, add transitions, add end, add music, etc. This jazzes it some. Do the create movie function. This creates a movie file that is acceptable/uploadable to MyTube, photobucket, etc. without any glitches.

Great vid, I am assuming the ditch was on the right side of the boat.
Take that thing through some standing timber sometime. I am big time interested in what kind of picture you would get.
