Overall, Tracker makes a pretty durable boat. Got a PT185, and it's been slamed on stumps in 3' - 4' swells many, many times and took the beatin'. The 17º dead-rise vee under the bow is a good thing in rough water. BUT, even thought they have a reputation for somewhat being the #1 selling fishing boat, it's the little things that bug the crap out of me that they won't change. One is the step hull......it's a challenge to get a transducer to work with the water void left with the step hull on the transom. Another........when I raise my driver's seat, the seat back comes down and barely clears the throttle, but doesn't clear it enough to not interfere with the motor trim button....('04 model). Can't raise it but a little, and you're trimming the motor one way or the other whether you want to or not. Was at BPS at Pearl, Ms a few months ago, and they had a PT190 there. Changed the seat style, console, and several other features........Sharp boat.....Super Sharp boat. But, I raised the driver's seat on this Super Sharp boat to see if they had fixed the problem of the seat hitting the trim switch......NOT. 5 years later........same ol' deal. Makes no sense........Just had to rant before I went night-night:p
