Go fishing at Arkabutla and Grenada in Mississippi.
I'm sure not a pro, but my two cents would be to fish places that don't look fishy and get avoided by most other anglers. I have avoided spots that were too shallow and barren looking, only to find that there's a ditch, trees and a drop off that gave the fish what they needed. Don't forget to look for submerged timber. I like fencerows, old road beds, cedars and hedge trees.

The secret is to fish where big uns live. You fish where they live long enough, they bound to slip up!
We seem to find the bigger crappie hanging around the main river channel edges alot.
The wife and I are sure hoping to make our first Grenada trip next March! From what I've read that seems to be the month to be there.
CATCH A BIG-UN
Easy enough...fish for Crappie in Mississippi!
Trolling crankbaits in the south on big lakes and impoundments (if done right )is a surefire way to put a slab on the wall. I fish North Mississippis big 4 and have never failed during the course of a summer or fall to catch a multitude of crappie over 2lbs. and a good many in the 16-17 inch class.
Meet a resonable man halfway everytime....don't meet an unresonable man at all.
I can remember my mom telling me their was prune juice in DR. Pepper. That is way I hardly ever drank it. Very seldom drink it today. Thank goodness it wasn't true.
Do you remember putting a bottle of Dr. Pepper in a pot of boiling water on the stove and then drinking it for a warm winter drink?
