First the boat, now the pictures.
I enjoyed.
Got the troops started early this morning and launched about 6:30am. Still a bit later than I planned, but better than the heat of the day.
The boat is still waiting on her gas motor. The fix it man said Monday. That handicaps us on where to fish. The best spots I knew of weren't within trolling motor power range.
We tried a couple places early with little results for crappie, so we switched tactics and started making smiles appear.
I'm not so proud that I won't take a whisker fish if that is what it takes to get smiles out of the kids. Here's a few shots from this morning. I will tell you, my daughter is crappie loyal. She didn't care about no whisker fish. When the crappie weren't biting, she just kicked back and made fun of us.

As I always say, "a fish is a fish is a fish, of course, then there's crappie. They are all good on the end of a line, some are just better on the table. Looks like y'all had a good time and that's what it's all about. Its nice to see all that hard work of yours put to good use.
