You're correct, my mod controls only show up in NY. Once I cross the state line, they go away

Since you're a super-mod maybe you can be my "back-up" when I'm away from the computer

    Exclamation Super Moderators ...

are currently : Rango, Skip, and myself.

If you see a spam post, or offending post ... simply click on the "report post" Icon (that's the white triangle with red borders & a exclamation point) that's at the top right of the message box. Then put your message in the box that appears and click "Send Report" button. One or all of us will get the message, and the offending post will be dealt with ... as soon as we get back on site.

Especially on spam ad posts .... DON'T click on any of the links !! That validates the connection, and the spammer gets paid for the "hit". Opening up any of those links, can also introduce spyware/malware cookies into your computer ... or viruses, or trojan programs. Best thing to do is to leave them be ... don't reply to them, don't click on them ... just "report" them !! Most of them are pretty obviously spam, as you can tell from the User ID name or title of the post.

ANY Moderator should be able to "soft delete" a post (remove the message text) on their respective forum ... but, only a Super Moderator can Ban the perp

    ................................
I think I speak for all the Mods, when I say :
We appreciate all the "thanks" !! We're just trying to keep the site clean and running smooth. We thank all the other members, too ... for behaving themselves and following site rules, and for reporting the spam.

    ... cp
