    Default Ordered new boat today.

My neighbor at the lake wanted my 2004 Triton so bad that I had to sell it. He wanted it so bad that he offered me $3,000. more than I paid for it a year ago.

Since I had been admiring the Lund's so much naturally I had to replace it with one.

2008 Lund 1725 Crappie edition with 115 merc 4 stroke.

I'm setting it up for trolling so I thought I would get a Minkota 80# Terrova with auto pilot. Is that the right choice?
    Good fishing.

Congrats on the new boat! You need to kiss the guy that purchased your old boat, because you did him good! Ha! I have a minkota maxum on a 186tr and it works great. everyone swears by the auto pilot. I dont think that is for me, but the constant speed is worth it weight in gold. Good luck with the new boat.

What you need is a slightly used 54# Minn Kota Powerdrive v2. :D I'm upgrading to the Terrova soon.

Love my Lund and Terrova, but make sure to add a Velcro strap to tie it down. It lock in well most of the time, but last week I found out that the unbreakable shaft can be broken. Coming back in I was pulling the throttle back and it self deployed and I heard this big bad sounding snap. It was shattered near the top and cracked from top to bottom.

It's under warranty so it will be fixed in a couple of weeks, would be faster if I lived near a dealer, but out here in the sticks I am stuck.

I am going to add a tie down strap for sure.

Congrats on your new boat and I am sure you will love it.

I have last years model with the same motor and it's a great Combo.

PS get the wireless as it is really nice to be able to get up and move around the boat for things and still control the TM from any where.
