How did you break it?

Went out for a short time just looking at a few things. Got back and slowed down near my boat house to go slow and you know that unbreakable shaft on the Minn Kota Troll Motors? Well I know for sure they are not unbreakable and now I am stuck with no trolling motor until I get this worked out. I can't even lift it out of the down position now.
Not happy here at all!

Must of took a hard lick, that bites. Got Insurance?
Skip,
Well that's no good. Was that Sunday? I think I saw you go by me Sunday. I was fishing that hump just off of the six Mile boat lane in front of Oak Hill/Miles creek I saw a white Lund go by me and go between the islands into the Sandy creek area, and about an hour or two later come back down the boat lane heading West. Was that you?

That was me and it didn't happen until yesterday. I went looking a bit and coming back in when I got near my boat house I pulled back the throttle and hit a small boat wake and the darn thing just deployed by it self and I heard a pop type cracking sound.
I had a hard time even getting it off my boat since I couldn't pull it back up because of the shaft not being round any longer. However I was able to get it propped up on the bank/dock in my boat house enough to be able to slide it off the bracket. That was not easy at all.
Now the dealer nearest to me has never done a Terrova and will take a look, but if that doesn't work out I will have to take the darn thing over 100 miles to get it fixed.
I remember seeing you on that hump and said something to the wife about you being there. A lot of people know about that hump, but it may surprise you as to how many don't know about that hump.
Did you do any good over that hump? I couldn't find any crappie in water less than 13' and most 15'-20' of water suspended.

I only pulled two off of it, pretty slow weekend. Only got 20 keepers, strolling in 14-17'. there's a whole bunch of 9 7/8" though....;^)
