Man that last picture brings a whole new meaning to "clear water".
Nice slabs!
well we finally had a nice warm day, almost 70 but very windy, took out my new kayak and headed for a small local lake, hoping the wind, 25mph, would not be too much on the small lake, well it was rough but I put my crappie wisdom to work and managed to 10 nice specks and 15 good gills which I took home and put in our pond for the kids. It froze solid this year so had complete winter kill so have to restock this spring.
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D

Nice! It sure is clear water. Thanks for sharing.
you know, it's kinda funny you guys say clear water because that particular lake is still a bit murky..but I do know what you mean, some of the other lakes here are always stained at best, and quite often they are just down right muddy,. the lake in the pic has about six feet of great visibility and in a month or so we can see the bottom in 15 feet of water

Nice catch. That clear water reminds me of the small lakes I used to fish in Wisconsin. Most times you could easily see 10 - 15 feet down. Made it easy to pick out weed lines and structure.
Nice catch...that sure is some clear water
