well fellas i went back over to the lake and headed to the head waters and it was warmer water and alot clearer took the whole arsonal then worms minnows and tubes and so on and the headwaters of this lake the water is right around 15 ft in the river channel and the sorronding edges it has about 3 ft of water so me and a friend spebnt the better part of an afternoon drifting among the brush and trees and in the river channel to once again end up empty in the live well.

many people have told me that the yough lake is very hard to fish for anything let alone target certain fish and i am beginning to believe them it was a slight overcast and the water temp was right aroubnd 46 degrees .

    so untill next time ,

    Default muddy water

Fish are looking for warmer water and food. The muddy water is warmer on top (from the sun) and you might be surprised at how shallow they will be sunning themselves. Might try 1-5 feet deep, from the bank to about 30-ft from the bank. Remember also they are like nomads, one day here ...one day gone,. Put the long rods out and kick on the troll motor (cover more water increases your odds).
