I like that hair clip idea. With a little repackaging, the right product name and some good marketing, you might be able to sell the "ROD CLIP" idea to BP. hmmmmm?

    Well, let's see.
Rule # l. Never whack a cottonmouth on the head with a rod you like.
Rule # 2. Never set the hook on a 10ft. gar.
Rule # 3. Never loan one of your rods to a fishing buddy.
Rule # 4. Never let a rod blow out of the boat on the way to the creek.
Rule # 5. Keep rods hidden from grandchildren.
Rule # 6. Never fish under low hanging limbs.

If I've got a cottonmouth that close, the least I'm worried about is my rod tip.
If you are a veteran or active military, THANK YOU.

Yeah you'll get a few strange looks while buying the hair clips but it's worth it. I use them to secure the hooks on a double hook rig also. I hook the bottom one in the foam handle, and the top one to the clip...They work pretty well. Mine are in brown and black..

Organization! Keep lines tied up and wrap line around the rod a couple times before laying it down.

    I wouldn't, if I were you

What you "should" do, is send the girls to the store to buy them "for you" ... just remember to tell them what colors are "acceptable" ... LOL !!
