    I like the Crappie nibbles,I just bought some of those Foodsource mealworms to try out.

    I personally like YUM, but not so much the spray. I like their grubs and beavertails and believe the scent/flavor makes a big difference. Keep them in the zipper bag till ya use them though. Don't let them sit in a box and dry out. The thing I don't like so much about YUM's spray is the red color. It will change the color of a light colored jig or soft plastic. Berkley Crappie Nibbles are good too, especially if you use the bait pump to put them inside a hollow tube body.

    My grandfather used anise on everything 50 years ago and swore by it. For about 5 years now I've used a mix of carmel and salty peanut oil and i do believe it improves the bite. Yep a crappie payday!
    Last time I saw a mouth like that it had a hook in it!
