You need a bigger boat so you can have more stuff. Good looking rig. Hope you catch alot of fish.

Paul built the dual seat rig. Roybouy turned us on to that style and Paul made a modification or two. If you can tell from the pic, you can slide each side forward or backward on the deck independently. The big reason for that is I'm 5'2" tall and Paul is 6'7" tall, plus, you can slide the bases out of the way to get into the front storage compartment.

Foul hook, you're right about a bigger boat, what we really need is a wider boat about 18 ft, but this one is paid for! We went from a 21 footer to a 17 footer to save on gas hauling it and on the water. Plus there were some spots that it was just too big for.

Thanks for the good comments y'all. I'm always tellin Paul he does good work, but he's too much of a perfectionist to be satisfied. (That's a machinist for ya, I guess:rolleyes

lamplighter I wanted pole holders in the back of the boat too for when we have other people fish with us so I made these to mount on the deck. They're not quite finished yet, I still have to drill the mounting holes and slot the tubes.

Good ideal. that should work great. I will have to look at the back of my boat to see if i have room for something like that.
