Could someone explain a parabolic road vs. non-parabolic. I have looked it up on the net but still don't think I understand it and the rod mfg. don't metion it on there sites.

a rod with a parabolic bend, is one that bends evenly over the overall length of the rod. A rod with a non-parabolic bend would be one that has a fast taper bend, bending easier towards the top 1/3 of the rod.

Parabolic = rod bending in this shape ..... )
Non-parabolic = rod bending more like this .... J

Ok here's mine shootin dock on Table Rock caught 6 lady comes down the walk way sir say's she there is no fishing arround the dock, mam says I yes there is I caught 6 already, she said they were her crappie so I said you got a bucket... yes. ok give it to me put the fish in the bucket. moved to the other dock caught a couple well 5 yep you got it her dock too... guess she didnt have enough fish for dinner well she did after the second trip, we laughed never been a better day shootin docks.... went home empty handed.
