Thanks for the great welcome! Slamdog im sure we have met im from ottumwa. I noticed someone from grenada calls himself whitecap, thats as they say hitting the nail on the head. Ive fished it 3 different times and seen whitecaps 3 times. I could only catch 1 pound dinks, but the lure of 3 pounders will keep me coming back. Its hard to beat them southern trollers at their game. I watched a local boy on grenada trolling in whitecaps with a ocean rod, about 6 jigs tied on, and weight that looked like a baseball, he was leaned up on the bow watchin for line twitch and catchin fish. This was shortly after I said to my partner I know where they are at but how do you catch em. did I mention his trolling motor was a small outboard. Iowa has a 2pole 2 hook limit thus im brush man. I sure have met alot of good people crappie fishing all over the country and it sounds like this site will be the same.
