I have used Seafoam for several years with great results. I recently had my outboard in for a water pump and saw a display of Seafoam at the dealers shop and asked the mechanic what he thought about Seafoam. He told me about a guy that had come in and his carbs were stopped up from the boat setting for a couple of years and the guy was needing to get out on the water but the boat wouldn't run. The mechanic told him it would be 2 weeks before he could get his boat in to rebuild the carbs so he said if the motor would run at all to try the Seafoam that the rep he bought it from had really been bragging about this stuff. The fellow put it in his boat the next day and the boat wouldn't do more than an idle but after running it around the bay for 30 minutes or so the boat got up on plane and was running. He run that tank of gas out and filled up again with another can of Seafoam. He carried to the mechanic 2 weeks later to get carbs rebuilt and the mechanic tore into them and said they were perfectly clean and he did nothing to them and put it back together. Motor has been running fine ever since. Gotta love that Seafoam!!! Mechanic recommended add some to every third tank of gas.

My Dad was auto mech. for lets see - around 35 years
and Seafoam is one of the FEW things I ever remember him recommending
as far as additives. Napa here carries it too.

Do you just add it to the tank of gas? Or is there a certain procedure to use this.

I already use Sta-bil, but this sounds like some good stuff to run through my 7 year old 25 Merc. before I start having problems.

just add it to your fuel. My motor was idling high and thought I was going to have to take it into the shop. I tried the Sea Foam and am amazed at the difference it made. It took a while for it to run through my motor, but my motor is idling the best it ever has. I'm a believer in the stuff. I plan on putting some in my commerical mower when I start up this year.

I have not heard anything bad about it so I guess I am going to start running it.

Our Walmart carries seafoam in the auto section, cheaper than most places.
I use it in every tank.

    Default seafoam is great

it was suggested that i use itin my yamaha. i have always had problems with my o2 sensor . when the carbon builds up the yamaha runs like crapola. it costs about $350 -400 for a new one and having it put in. my sensor was getting bad and my motor running like crap. someone suggested that i try seafoam. i put it in my tank and before my tank was empty it was running great again. now i had it to every tank. i buy it at advance auto parts.
