Normally fish there in the Spring & Fall (Apr - Oct) ... targeting Black Crappie, generally. But, I have had some good trips in May (White Crappie) in the distant past. Two totally different approaches used, depending on species sought. Pretty much learned the art of "dock shooting" at WB ... and have successfully used it there, and at Weiss. Generally fish around the Whites Creek area.

Dennis, there used to be an older fella that guided on Dale Hollow named Ira Barlow. He didn't use a trolling motor, just oars to hold on the breakline. He was always in the market for Zebco Cardinal 3 and 4 reels - the old ones with the phosphor bronze drive gear and stainless worm gear. Do you know if he's still around?
