    I like those Spectra lines! I find them super sensative and strong for when something bigger bites and I want to see what it is! :D Braid performs more to my liking but as Moose stated about breaking off that is why I ALWAYS use a leader/tip of My favorite mono of about 4-12' so that breaking off dosen't cost me a finger plus I keep a wooden dowel (aka broom stick) in the boat just for that occasion.

    I like the power pro - I think for winter fishing it helps - but for spring fishing in shallow water the wally marshall line is as good as any
    with my mind on crappie and crappie on my mind -
    and if ya'll see Goober later tellem I said duh huh - he'll know what ya mean!!!!!!!!

    I use Power Pro line attached to filler on the spool and if the water seems very clear or I need a bit of stretch, I add a foot leader of flourocarbon line. Fire Line is okay, but I have to change it more often. Power Pro's actual diameter is smaller than Firelines for a specific # test. I was great for ice fishing.
