Looks awsome Fin ! !
Nothing goes to waste around my house, not even furniture. I used to be into wood working. I built these beds when my boys were little but they outgrew them. I told them, "We can put them in the attic or stick' em in the lake where they will do some good." So, we broke ice here on Ky Lake yesterday and sent them into the deep (respectfully). Now all my woodworking equipment is used to build habitat instead of furniture. It's more rewarding to watch my kids haul a two pounder out of the water than to watch them use a step stool I built them 10 years ago.

"Teach the world to fish = you won't have any fish left to eat "
That is truly a stake bed !
Whoops! I met to post this in the Crappie Structure Forum. I get confused easily after putting out structure. I'm still comin' down off the high. I enjoy putting out stuff almost as much as I do fishin' it. It's like playing the lottery. You pick your numbers, sit and wait, then go back to check them to see if they where any good.

Now that is recycling.
By the way, from a fellow woodworker, the beds look good. Looks like hickory or white oak, should be there til the cows come home.
I use my scrap for structure!
Nice real nice
This only my opinion, but nothing you can say will change my mind. That makes it a FACT.
Today is a Blessed Day and a Prosperous Day

You are a good woodworker, great looking sleeping beds and also good looking fish beds. Bet fish caught on those beds is gonna have a special taste..

That's awesome. And darn funny, too.
Good thing you didn't go the bunk bed route, though.
:D
Actually, those can be made into bunk beds. All you had to do was flip one upside down and over and it made bunks. You then put dowl rods into the holes on top of the post and one slid down on the other and held them together. Got the plans out of one of my WOOD magazines.
