Automatic Oil Injector

VRO pump went out in my 1999 Johnson 40hp but just opposite of the way that many go bad. Mine would not pump gas, only oil. It quit working suddenly with a lot of smoke & oil in water. There was no audible warning alert as the warning system doesn't care if only the gas quits pumping. New replacement pump priced over $300 (thru local marina). Installed a plain fuel pump instead for about $170 & mix my own now. Got about 5yrs out of original VRO - that's better than most I hear.
