Be mindful of your wake around other boats, especially those that are anchored.

They are all good ideas and here is a couple more I would add.

1 If it is below freezing out stop your boat trailer wheels at the water line when pulling out of the water and let the trailer drain a bit instead of seeing how much water you can sling onto the ramp to ice up for the next boat using the ramp.

2 If it is dark at the ramp and there are other folks using it just use your parking lights while launching and loading to keep from blinding the other folks on the ramp.

Seeing those things occur just indicates to me someone as unconscious and inconsiderate of the others around them.

I'm not a trophy hunter, per say, so I dont want this to come off sounding the wrong way. But I wished people wouldnt settle on keeping little fish just because the larger ones didnt bite their hook. There's always another day when the larger fish will bite. (And I aint talking "trophy" fish, just fish that's big enough to eat.)

No 2 - If you catch your limit and then catch and release you will get a ticket if caught by game warden. Once you get your limit you are done fishing and can't even have a pole in your hands or you will get a ticket. You would have to be 1 fish short of your limit to keep fishing. Just wanted to clearify that point.

Good point. I had forgotten about the "One under rule.....in some states!!!" That is what makes this forum so great. Everybody has something positive to add that in the end helps us all be a better crappie angler....Men and women.
