Almost made me spew diet coke on my screen! :D

Sure am glad to know "other" folks have the same type problems I do. We had a seat just exactly like that one. The hinges held fine, but the seat cracked where the wood was pressed together.....just a teeny bit. Couldn't really see it. BUT... when you sat down, it Peeeeeeinched! Wish I'd have thought of duct tape! :p

Thank god for duct tape, or you would have to buy a new seat. Now that one has many years left in it.

I double dare you to let her read that, though I heartily agree with you. Most of them never learn though. I wouldn't mind seeing your version of that training course. Share a bit of your wizened experience with us younguns for future reference. I think the key is convincing them that its easier to drop a lid than lift it, but I'm probably totally wrong there because that makes sense. Women can be so irrational sometimes. Man this is a sure fire powder keg issue. I can see the veins popping out on the foreheads of the womens members as I type, but I just can't help myself.
