If ya don't find 'em here, you might check Ebay.
Anybody know where I can get some of the old BPS 2" Spring Grubs in Motor Oil color. When they went to the new package (heavy ziplock bag with the info printed on it) they changed the "formula" and the grubs are waaaay too stiff. No action at all.
I am looking for the grubs that came in a regular plastic bag with the cardboard flap stapled to it. I think they started the "New" packaging the year before last. I'm almost out and need another 200 or so.
Thanks

Hey...jerk...your bobber's under!!!
Been checkin Ebay for a while now. Not many Motor Oil 2" grubs at all on there. I'm hoping someone has a few bags stashed away somewhere that they aren't using anymore.
Anything in true, old, motor oil color is hard to find.

Gerald,
You are 100% correct. I search all the website I can find, stop in all tackle shops whenever I travel and look at all of the flea market tables.
I know not many people fish for crappie in Maryland, heck most don't even know we have crappie here, but M.O. is a great color around here.
Still looking......
Cabelas makes a motor oil color and so does Kalins.

Thanks Again.....still looking
is more like the color of these :
more 'greenish' with a slight brown tint. It was somewhat translucent, and the Sunlight would cause them to display several other colors, or shades of colors.
Maybe you're using the wrong "color" wording in your search engines ... or maybe BPS called them "Motor Oil", when actually they were more of a "iced tea", or "root beer" coloration.
In any case ... I'll keep an eye out !! Are we looking for a single or double curly tail grub ??
... cp
CP, That's the one, the old motor oil, the good color. It seems that most everyone has changed the color some the past couple of years.
I've found that the color of the black / green has also. The number on the container of the one's I've ordered and what I get now is different from the older ones that I still have.
