Check out the jig tying forum. I have bout several jigs from guys on that forum and the all have been of the highest quality. Smoothlure and crappiehappy made me some jigs that are so pretty I almost hate to fish them. Well almost.
Those sound like some good color combos Skip. One of my better selling jigs is also a silver/ Blue/ white combination, and I have a couple of guys that only use that particular jig! It seems only logical that crappie in general would like the same snack, no matter where they are swimming!

Fish like your hungry!
I think I will keep on using my handmade ones too Skip. I have a lot of confidence in them.

Some of them look nice, and some of them look like they've been tied poorly. Pretty much any jig will catch fish in my opinion.
Reaper, Where Fish come to Fry
The grey ghost is a good color combination, but there are many days that other colors will out produce it. That being said, I don't know if there is a single "Perfect Jig". I've caught fish on a certain jig color one day and the next day, you can't buy a fish on the exact jig. A change in color combinations and the fish bite again.
Just sayin'

I don't know about the ones with angled heads, but the minnow head jigs on that page are identical to the ones Cabela's sells 5 for $2.99. They come in an assortment of colors, and I have seen all of those colors in the packages at the Boise Cabela's.
Cabela's: Wahoo! Crystal Fry Jig Assortment
I have caught a lot of trout and crappie on them, especially the white and pink/white. Now that I am tying my own, I just make them myself.
Don't worry, catch crappie.
