I dont like walmart at all, they have put alot of small business out of busines! That was what made this country so good. No one can compete with Walmart! I will not go there if I can help it! We need to support the little man!

We shop at Walmart, but it is because they are about the only game in most towns now. I didn't like them from the start as I saw too many mom & pop shops go down as they couldn't compete. It happened all over the country and since I live in Texas with loads of small towns it happened over and over.

By now it's the only game in towns now so they won sorry to say. They stifle any small business they compete with. People just can't afford to spend extra just to shop at a mom & pop type place and it also saves on gas from running around town from one small shop to another.

It a shame that it's like it is, but it is!

I hope all turns out well for you and sorry for your loss and also hope the loss turns into a gift from above!

I also shop at Walmart but it is a neccissity not a want to. There are no other Mom and Pop Stores left here. I do buy groceries locally and shotgun shells locally but thats about all thats left. The Wal-Mart is 30 miles away and like said before when it opened all the Mom and Pop stores closed. Big Daddy good luck with the lawn business. Heck my Nephew had a lawn business and after about a year he got so much business that he hired several people and all he did was drive around and check on their work. He made a lot of money. He wound up selling it when he moved and didnt get into it again. I told him he was nuts for not getting back into it.

I have a couple of Wal Marts in the area as well. They have gotten into the Appliance and Furniture business on a limited basis. Tha is what I do. I try not to take advantage of them on the similar items. They do the best they can but do not offer what we offer. We deliver and set up (no charge) We service what we sell (only what we sell) I know that Wal Mart can't match us when it comes to service and product knowledge. We just try to treat them fairly and not take advantage of them.
