Tux, try watching the tapes with the sound off. Just watch the arm the pole is in. Elbo fairly close in and still to the body, wrist stiff and just move the forearm. It will seem awkward at first but you can get the rthym down then loosen the arm a little. Let the rod do the work, when you use your arm to much you loose the action of the rod. Try watching without the sound and see if it helps. Ferdi, aka Fred
Good fly line is a HUGE thing in fly casting. good fly line will make casting so much better and easier. You have to remember your throwing the LINE not the lure. Your talking 20-40 max for good fly line. you can find scientific angler or some cortland 333 for around 20 and it wil last your 2-3 yrs.
