I've got 9 ACC rods 8 are 2 piece and one is 3 piece. I sling all my crappie and have never broke one on a fish. Good part is if you should happen to brake the top section you can replace it. Every company can get a bad batch of rods and have some brake but the newer rods have to be taken care of and not scratched. A 10' jigging rod will work good for what you are wanting to do.

Just ordered one. Thinking of using it for drop shots and corking. Would it suit that?

Thanks. I was looking at the 2-piece because they could break down and fit in the underseat storage of my boat. I have two of the 7' Sam Heaton super sensitive 2 piece rods. They are like fishing with a wet noodle. I've read the Acc Crappie Stick is a firmer rod.

They are firmer and sensitive, you won’t regret buying it.
