    Default Picture shy

You ever get so in the moment that you never think to pull out the picture taking device and miss one opportunity after another to get some beautiful fishy pictures… that would be me yesterday! I guess my fishing has been so limited this year that my brain couldn’t handle the multitasking factor, to eager to catch another one lol. Took the son in law to the river yesterday, was an awesome day! Kept a mix of crappie and gills, 36 hit the cleaning table. Had a curious little visitor that just wanted one, maybe two of said catch. I did have to mess with him a little and pull him up close so sil could get a good look and picture. So… here’s the few that got their pic taken… and not one gill got their pic taken. I will try to do better I promise lol!

Looks like a few future dinners, way to get after them. Like 870 says, you can keep the gators below the Mason/Dixon line, please!
Someday I'll have to again try the whole, scaled 'gill cooking method. Those look really appetizing!
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.

Nope… he was really wanting one but I didn’t let him have one, swam off all pouting like and giving me the stink eye.

Good cooler shot Smitty. I’m not much for feedin lizards either. Tourist boats feed the Owls and now they’re a problem in some areas close by.Name: IMG_4334.jpg

yep, feeding the local natives have been known to backfire in more ways than one. Cooler looks good, and so do the fresh dinners...Congrats on a good day out.
