    Default Priceless !

We rolled up as a pit stop at my friends lake Sunday on the way back from our country place to our home place in ft. worth , H was in his truck and the 3 of us in ours ....
The women folk hit the clubhouse and H and I went straight to the crappie dock .
To say the bite was good would be a seriously wrong understatement ....
The crappie bit like wildfire and the lake had rose to almost full ....
Anything that went down got bit and the fish ran really nice size , everyone hammered em and we let them all swim on .
Probably hit around 150 or more in 2 hours from 2 to 4 pm ..
if you like to ketch fish and eat and enjoy the beauty of west Texas with your family and best bud .....
then the word in this particular case is "Priceless" !
and of course followed closely by ....
    KABOOM
p.s. the morning started out on our place as an eye opener , a few wild friends visited with me while I had coffee , the scorpion bout got me and the rat snake was really friendly ....both went on their way after we took a picture or 2 ...
    ....good times yawl

Looks like everyone had a great day, certainly priceless. Never have seen a scorpion here. That's a big snake, around 5' is my guess. I quit handling them, they would always poop on me.

we call them "stinging scorpions" kuz that is what they will for sure do to ya .....
the sting is a strange one for sure , hurts like a wasp at first , then pretty quickly 15 minutes or so , it begins to feel a bit numb , then an hour or so and it's like it never happened .....and it leaves no visible mark on your skin to speak of ....
will for sure wake you up better than coffee by about 27 miles ...

we think it was well over 6 , about a foot was above my hand and it was inches from the ground , wife sure don't like em much , but it was about as friendly as a wild one of them get , we call them "chicken snakes" and it is NOT because they are chicken , they typically go to town when messed with and get right not nice , striking and biting and rattling their tail and standing up like a darn cobra .....one of the more bad attitude snakes we have in these parts , but not her ....go figure
