Got to go out for a few hours today. Started late but sometimes old folk need to sleep in
Anyway sun an a bit breezy surface temp 71 degrees. Lots of boat traffic.
caught four. No plans for next weekend, the wake boats will be out in force

That's why I love and cherish the permission I have to go out on the couple private lakes in my area. no boats at all exept me, and I never even fire up the gas motor on mine.

I will avoid any public waters for sure , this weekend here will be nutso .....
one thing for certain though , if have shade and time , a seat by a big lake boat ramp will be about as entertaining as it gets ....

IF you go to the water on Memorial Day weekend the bast spot is in a chair near the boat ramp. Some of the best stories from the lake are the ones from launch watchers and the UNBELIEVABLE things they see and video tape.
