The fun in the sun was had, just not any fish... Seems a bass tournament was happening, jet skiers bouncing all over, but it was an enjoyable time. Tried a bit of everything, and no bites. Not sure what water temp was, but for sure was cool. But with no Fish Finder, I mean we was really old schooling it. Got back to the house around 3pm, and helped momma finish up some Jabalia, then chowed on that.

Even though no fish were caught, time on water and then jambalaya sounds like good times to me.

Yes Sir, I really and truly enjoyed being away from the house. Jambalaya was outstanding. Wesley, don't get up to visit often, though he'll call mom when he needs a Cajun Food Fix and ask for something specific he can pick-up on his way through Springfield. He's currently on a dedicated route from Dallas to Columbus, Oh. They'll normally go Hyw. 30, to hyw. 40, to hyw 55, to Hyw. 59 to hyw. 70 to Columbus. But when he swings through here They'll take hyw.70 to St. Louis and grab hyw 44, stop here, then 44 into Oklahoma. These visits are usually limited to his 30 min. mandatory break for his logbook, and off he goes again. Always glad to see the young man. The suprise was he brought his fiance' with him for a 4 day stay in Bransom and so far been here everyday, which is always good.
