Default Don't let stormy weather keep you home .

Weather not the best with a east wind. Takeum jigs was responsible for a limit of 30 plus a few. Went out at 2 pm, could not stand sitting around the house this afternoon. That Ghost jig just keeps on putting the hurt on them. Boat flipping them with the Huckabee Stryker 11.5' jig pole, don't care for those heavy 13' poles anymore. Getting old and this neuropathy makes me stay with light poles. Most on wood but chased a few roamers. Hanging out in 10 to 12' of water.

Nice bunch of slabs. Wish I had a lake full of those close to me. Been dealing with neuropathy myself for awhile. Good days and bad days for sure.

Wind was gusting to 30 miles an hour which is not good when one has a 14ft boat. I had to sit this weekend out.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
