Spinning Wheel of Death?

Anyone else noticing that posting takes much longer than normal? I don't seem to have the issue with anything else on the site but when I post or reply it takes a long time and getting the spinning wheel of death in the top left corner.

It will even at times give that message saying if you leave the page it may not post error (not exactly sure what it says) but I leave and it always posts.


Even timed this one and it took 18 seconds after I hit post............

I sometimes have harder posting when it's early hours. I wonder if the server goes to sleep or has maintenance it's doing during those hours.

Earlier today I got a message when I opened the site, that said something to the effect of the "Server being too busy"

But, since that message (after about a 30min pause doing other internet stuff) I've had no problems. Well, the "circle of death" has appeared & turned longer than normal, but my posts/PM's went thru without duplicating or not going thru.

I'm on my PC for these transactions, not my phone.

some days yep , some days not so much , interesting when it goes bananas for sure ....
sometimes it double posts when I for sure only submitted it once as well ....go figure

We do a backup of the site every AM. Can't remember exactly when but that is likely the issue.

SLAB, there is a problem somewhere. Maybe the Chinese are trying to go after the site again. This afternoon, was having problems when clicking on posts, and it not wanting respond. So left, and did some other things online, which l had no problems with. Seems to be okay right now. Noticed it being a little slow again the last few days.

Just did it again at 5:17 CST on the MO Page - Spinning Wheel of Dearth on a reply for about 10 seconds, got the error message below, hit leave, Spinning Wheel of Death again for another 8 seconds and it double posted any way??
