Funny how those "Black Crappie" disappear after the spawn and don't show up again until next year. Same thing happens when I'm fishing for bluegill and talk to other people about their luck. The giant bluegill they caught are always redear which they insist are the same thing.

yep giant red ear are always monster bluegill , this is also a well known fact .....
had a fella that actually is a pro , send me to the best monster "bluegill" lake ever back when ....
we hammered monster "red ear" never saw a single bluegill .....
