    Default What colors ?

What colors do you struggle to catch fish with ? For me it is pink . Really crazy since I fish a pink head 80 % of the time . Doubt that I have caught more than 50 in my life on pink, pink/white and electric chicken combined . Most likely water clarity has me using something else when they would work better . thoughts .

Funny to me but plain white is my nemesis. I have found SlabSauce helps with the bite. Needless to say I rarely fish white as its own color.

Pink head has worked at times but pink colored body hasn’t worked that well for me and l can’t remember last time I used pink.

Colors are most important to fishermen. Years ago, I used some pink and white tube jigs with insert heads. Caught plenty just like every other color I tried.

My wife and I were fishing side by side in the same boat on the same brush top this past weekend. We both had unpainted jig heads. She was running a black and chartreuse tube, I had a green and chartreuse. After she caught 6 in a row and I caught none,I changed to a black and chartreuse and started catching them on par with her. Color may not matter all of the time, but it surely matters some of the time. As for pink, in my experience pink works best on a good bite in settled water. I’ve. It had much luck with pink after a muddying event, but just as soon as it begins to settle down they seem to like it
