HEY unlike you , ran across this here post on Fakebook with that fella that did the selfie with the crappie in this thread
he apparently chases bass and had lots of bass images in the post ....
MOST of the bass had some sort of really nasty leprosy looking sore spots all over them !
I would be careful with whatever you eat out of said waters ....
it aint the right time of year for fish to have that kind of bad acne problems ....
might be bacterial or parasitic or god knows what ....
water ain't warm enough yet to be growing them kind of nasty things just yet locally ...and ...
I just know this about that ....
it made my skin crawl looking at it .....just fyi

@Ketchn thanks man I appreciate this. However I now need to call the person I gave all them away to. I was so turned off by the way the lake was publicized & feel so much like it's a "Real Estate Pocket Padding False Leader or Hype" that I don't want anything to do with it in any way. I mean I don't/didn't keep its fish, won't be driving back to it, & even cancelled the bet I even had today because I told my Buddy, "Terry Young is never going back". I mean that. I know when I'm being Sold/Mislead. Something about this Lake smells like a Money Grab to me & when that happens Politicians get their hands in the mix, things are rushed, Bills people don't realize that get approved are made to pad pockets, & people get hurt mainly the hard workers. Great Eye & Thanks @Ketchn. I smell something Fishy, & I feel something Slimy about Lake Bois D'Arc especially after visiting it and reading all the things I know about it. Why do I have this since of alert about a darn Fishing Lake when I've never felt like this towards any Fishery EVER? BECAUSE GOD HAS SUPPLIED ME WITH ALL THE INNER SENSES TO KNOW WHAT I NEED TO KNOW & IT'S RINGING LIKE AN ALARM IN ME ABOUT LAKE BOIS D'ARC BROTHER.

had the feel of mostly hype to me for sure , EVEN fork didn't get that much publicity back when ...
might be a big fish spot for crappie down the road though , sometimes they need to settle out some
and with that much cover they got spots to hide and grow ....just saying
