    Default Making memories and gifting

Boat traffic was a pain today. Caught most of my fish on cover. Same Takeum Gray Ghost hand tied jig . Still using the light 11.5' Huckabee rod / Stryker . Kept a limit and came in to take Kena to Physical Therapy. A young man was fishing off the bank with his parents . He wanted to talk and ask a million questions . I always try to spend a few minutes talking to a young fisherman . Asked if I needed any jigs cause he tied them . He looked off the dock and made a comment on my fish. Then asked if I would trade a Crappie for a crankbait . I asked what you going to do with it? He said I am going to eat it . Of course an idea entered this old mind. Reminded me of my self, many years ago . When I got the boat out on my trailer I told him, bring your stringer. Hope him and his parents had a good fish fry.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

That’s a lot of fish to clean. I’m sure they had a great dinner and will talk of this for a long time.
