    Default Interesting for sure

Saw a fella with a nice white crappie on a scale over at the lake I hit on my lunch breaks , it was 2.77 right out of the water and to be honest did not look like it would weigh that to me at 15 inches long , but it was healthy ....
one of the interesting parts though is all the hub bub and folks trying to glean. where he was on the lake and what dock it was behind him and etc. etc. when he posted up 2 images of it and there was back ground stuff visible .
I went back thru a few recent images of some of the better fish off the dock I been ketchn and it appears a few of them were better than that fish by some in it's length and width , made me kinda sad I never weigh any of them and release most of them as well , but then again who knows , maybe he found one of them and it made his day and also got him his 3 seconds of fame on the internet as well ......
KABOOM is always near btw ....
here is a fish I tossed on a ruler on the dock from within the last week , she was for sure longer than his and honestly looked fatter to me as well ....
but as we all know ,a fish story is just a fish story .....right ?

That lake can handle about a bunch more pressure, used to be consumption warnings there and the upper crust avoid it like it has the plague….
There was a time the state folks thought the new state record might come out of there .
Never seen a fish near that size in there , but it holds some numbers of solid 2 plus fish …

Good story and photos. If it is PFOS the state is talking about that is nothing to fool with, that’s for sure. My home creek/stream lost its trout stocking due to PFOS. stop the kids from jumping in though, no matter the signs right in front of them. Go figure.

About everything with water in it near any large city is flat out full of things that the government isn't even looking for and in many cases most have no clue if some of the man-made stuff is dangerous or safe to consume.
Run off from yards and streets is full of things that are unknown for the most part about whether they are safe to consume at any ppm concentrations ....
We are our own worst enemy....FOR sure...
