Wow, very nice, never forget, thank you for your service and thank everyone that paid the ultimate price. I will never forget.
Went by this today to pay respects and make a donation, and to view the beauty of it. This cemetery is over 200 years old. Many crumbling graves. Many headstones from the early 1800's. For perspective they put up 1199 flags along the roads in the cemetery. What an awesome sight. They have pipes in the ground, which they leave a weighted plug in year round to set the flags in. These are full size 4 x 6 flags. There is also a historic walking display with the state flags in between the US flags with the proper number of stars as they were added, as well as a description board explaining the dates states were added. From a Betsy Ross flag to the current 50 stars. My wife and I were touched and felt very appreciative of those who died for our country. May she regain her full glory. As a veteran I have grown to attend more and more of these ceremonies. God Bless the USA. "D"

"D" thanked you for this post
That's great, "D"
They put flags on the 17,000+ graves at Camp Nelson Natl Cemetery, but I didn't get to help as I was attending my niece's High School Graduation party. But they had hundreds of volunteers to do the job.
But, I'll be laying wreaths in Dec. as I have for the last 5yrs.
Very cool and awesome site to see. Thanks for sharing.
