    I put ditch pickles back too. Been over 30 yrs probably since I’ve eaten a bass. Might be time to remind myself how they taste.

    Nice catch, as for me and my taste, if you mix a bass with crappie to eat; somebody is going to think they have gotten hold of a bad fish. The ole bass just isn’t as good. Smaller fresh water creek bass might blend in. But if that water is stagnant “it ain’t gonna happen”. Just put the bass back to help control over population of crappie and enjoy eating good fish.
