1rst Gen Helix 10 SI bit the dust. Replacement???

I “think” I read that the Helix 10 SI 4th Gen has wi fi and the 9 did not list it. Is the Wi-Fi used for updates? Do any of the Humminbird’s use Wi-Fi for networking at this time?

It has Bluetooth, not WiFi. It will update via Bluetooth but that will take a very long time as most updates are pretty large.
