I tried researching this subject and just got a headache. Most of the cheaper batteries are from China and use inferior parts. This is does not mean the battery will not do what it is suppose to do. A warranty means nothing if their is no place to have the work done. I tried to find those diamonds in a sea of duds but none of them stood out. I can accept spending $100 for a cheap battery and it craps out in two years. I cannot accept spending $500 for a battery and watching it crap out in two years. Buying a battery for your electronics is a heck of alot cheaper than buying a few for your trolling motor. Take a chance on the former and pass on the later. I have Amped Outdoors for one boat and some Eco Worthy on the other. I'm still running deep cycles for both boat trolling motors because I am to cheap to buy name brand batteries and too afraid of buying generic Chinese brand.
