    Default Garmin GT54UHD-TM

So I finally broke down & bought a Ultra 106SV. I'm assuming that this transducer cable is supposed to have a plastic nut on it. The power cable has one. All of my previous units have all had plastic nuts on both cables. I'm sure it's just my luck that I get the one that was made without one.

Look through all you packaging. It is most likely there. It ships as a split connector to make it easier to run the cable if needed.

I've made the mistake of overlooking it myself before. There should also be a red o ring in the bag with it. Garmin does sell replacements but it should be in the box.

    Instructions are a last resort.

I made a trade with person on BBC for a GT56 transducer. He wanted a GT54 to be able to mount on his trolling motor. When I went to install the transducer I overlooked the split connector twice searching the packaging. I even knew what I was looking for and missed it twice.
