Usually when our packages are delayed it is due to the pack mule they use to deliver here has thrown a shoe or came up lame.....or ??? They have screwed up the USPS so bad, closed our regional center, so if I send something 15 miles away it has to go to Kansas City and back......guess that is more efficient?

Doug I had something similar that was co ing from Florida. I went flight from FL to Cincinnati 3.5 hrs east and then went to Wheeling WV, back to Newark Ohio, to Parkersburg WV then to Columbus, Ohio and finally here all in the span of 2 weeks. This isn’t the only incident like this. I think more and more the big 3 shippers are using other 3rd party assistance to “move” packages etc.

Another instance I bought something from a business in SC. It shipped the next morning 2 day FED EX. Made it to Beckley WV on I77 in about 12 hrs. Thats where the 2 day shipping died. It sat there for 6 days citing “ logistical issues” no delivery date available. I found out I couldn’t get my 15.00 shipping charger back because it was sent Express Saver BY THE SELLER.

Sometimes I think the good lord just tests us to see our reaction on things and events in our life,

    Any hoo God Bless friend.

There can be problems with the model where UPS picks up the item and then transfers it to the USPS. USPS Is my least favorite ways to get anything. It can be like dropping into a black hole. That said, priority seems to be much better. Hope you get your item.

I've had luck by printing out the tracking information and taking it to the Benton KY PO and showing it to the clerk (especially the young lady that works there). She went in the back and, I think, made a phone call and got the package two days later, with, BTW, no further updates on the tracking. I believe an actual person was involved.

Thats their code for "we don't know where it is"! I hate the usps and wish they'd privatize it. In reality a mule train is usually faster.

I had a package from a company in Grand Rapids, Mi., about 40 miles away, go from GR to a regional facility in Illinois where it sat for a while to another facility in Illinois where it sat to Allen Park, Mi where it sat, back to Illinois where it sat, back to Allen Park, then to Grand Rapids, passing within 3 miles of my house on I-96, then to Lansing, Mi passing within 3 miles of home again, to the local PO, then to my house. Total travel time- 18 days! Raise the price of stamps and delivery, that should fix the problem

I have this happen many times. I just ordered a step drill bit and it took 10 days to get it. It started in Calabasas CA and per tracking it went to FT Worth before going to Little Rock then Houston and then to Dallas. The record for me is 3 weeks with a item I ordered from Wayfair. It set in my local distribution center for 2 weeks and no amount of calls could get it moved.
