MCG1 LIKED above postwannabe fisherman haha
Like you, as long as I can keep an eye on them we are good. I'm not a friend of theirs though.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Many, many years ago a friend and I were bass fishing in KY Lake. It was in the summer and I was throwing a buzz bait and it ended up in a tree. I eased the boat into the bank under the tree to retrieve my bait but I just couldn't reach it. I started shaking and pulling on the limb when my buddy told me "don't move". Being frustrated i kept up what I was doing, again he told me "do not to move". I stopped and asked him what in the crap are you talking about? He said look down, I did and one of the biggest water snakes I've ever seen was crawling across my feet. The next thing I knew I was standing on the back of the boat with him watching the snake ease over the side of the boat into the lake, LOL. I'm just glad I didn't run right past him and into the lake! We still laugh about it.
I'm not scared of snakes, but that one surprised me.
Thanks for reminding me to put my Machete in the boat as of tonight KETCHN. NO JOKE!!!!!!!!!! HECK TO DA NAW!!!!!!!!!!! What's crazy here in Texas at least Dallas/Fort Worth the weather and water is STILL COLD!! This morning it was 36 darn degrees and most of the DFW Lakes are 54-58 averaging. To see snakes now is like BONKERS!! Stay safe guys...

Lake Washington on the Mississippi river side of our state is about the worst for Vipers of any lake I have fished. I think they even do a roundup there. Vipers hanging in the trees everywhere you look.
that lil location was just crawling with snakes that day , saw at least 4 different ones , one was even right at my feet when I strolled up .....they were some kinda busy ketchn them sum sunny rays , one was pretty large and seemed to have swallowed a fish .....
just water snakes it seems to me , but beware , we do have small concentrations in some places of actual western cottonmouths , this is fact
sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales
