    outdoor life was my absolute favorite hands down reading material as very young fella .....good stuff for sure

    Reminds me of when Walley Marshall said the 1st crappie tournament he ever won was without a boat wading the shallows. Outdoor Life and Field & Stream was all we had as a kid in the 70's for learning about the outdoors. Life was better back then

    Fur fins and feathers was another one I always read years ago. Speaking of wally marshall I think I saw him in front of the zebco booth yesterday at the classic expo in Tulsa.

    I loved to read Pat McManus in Field & Stream and later in Outdoor Life.
