The way it should be...
So I try to teach my guys how to catch Crappie not where my fishing spots are but sometimes I find my spots used for teaching will be cleaned out. They never were cleaned out before I shared the spot. I have some spots that are 20+ years old. You have to have fish present to teach someone how to fish, kinda a requirement. Bon Temps sent this to me and it says it all;

shared the best ever spot one time years ago with a good friend .....spent time setting it up .....a bunch of brush set mid channel in 12 foot of water , back then we tied up to one bank and let rope out and paddled to the other side.
then we tied up on the off side and pulled the boat back to strung up tight across the channel right above said spring hold em spot on the way into where they spawned .....
it was beyond good and 50 to 75 big fish quick was easy , I took a bud and made it VERY clear not to share it , at that time flashers were the only electronics to "find" fish and I knew no person alive would ever locate it .....
took him one and day and went back with another friend the next day and THERE was my buddy looking all sheepish tied up with another "friend" right on top of my lil sweet spot ....
hoisted up a stringer so heavy it took both of them to lift it !
sometimes it just is what it is ....

I’ve been done that way before to Ketchn. There’s a couple of guys I work with that want to go with me and also talk of all they keep. I’ve gotten to where I just tell em no cuz they just want my fish and not my company. They don’t like it much but better them mad.
NEVER!!! Just point them to the lake and say they are out there.

Respectfully speaking Sir, once I got to know you, whoever you are, I would try to help you catch Crappie. I've been blessed in that department, dyslexia seems to help with catching - understanding how they operate. I can't tell you how many times I have either was launching or picking up and gave a mini clinic at the dock to a newbie so he hopefully caught enough to get the bug. I submit always have patience with the uninformed but dis the disrespectful. If someone runs up on me while I'm fishing I leave, for some divine reason the invaders never seem to have success following behind me, when I leave fishing a spot.
