Default BANANA not in the boat ....

but it did look like one on my lunch time jig set up ....
was an interesting visit yesterday , lost a Really stupid big male fish trying to lift it up the wall on the bulkhead ....darnit I say
but the more interesting part was the 2 different times I was on my knees with my hand under the dock when fish wrapped up on stuff down below and managed to ketch BOTH fish by hand after they hung up under there ....
one ran thru the dock frame and wrapped up in it , the other got into some old rope with a wire thru it hanging under the dock ....
was nice to find them a bit more cooperative , the last rain and cold front hurt that there on fire bite pretty bad ....
might revisit them today ,,,,a bit of a warming trend is getting them back to a bit of a good bite , did find 2 large male fish in short water , the rest were out in 9 fow ....
bites were all over the map and they wanted the bait moving around steady , either parallel to the bottom drug along and twitched or vertical and slowly rising ....
until I hammer again without the use of live bait ,,,,

Wowee. You are hooking some beauties. The one sounded like it could have use your “sling and fling” technique, but might have broken the rod!
